Infographic on Electromagnetic Frequencies in North Hollywood

 

Initially interested in the genetic probability that I could be struck by lightning, (a member on each side of my family has been struck, and I've always been paranoid that lightning will be the end of me...) I began researching the human body's conductivity, which led me down a winding path towards a relatively new phenomenon known as Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity. With this affliction, certain people suffer adverse health symptoms due to exposure to high electromagnetic radiation. 

 

 

Deciding to explore my personal exposure to such radiation, I bought a ghost detector on Amazon (which measures electromagnetic frequencies; supposedly indicators of paranormal activity) and measured frequencies in my neighborhood. Using longitute, latitude, and simple Processing sketch, I mapped out the locations and intensities of radiation in a small part of North Hollywood.
